Stephanie Song has lived in Virginia since 2008, but grew up in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, and began her career as a registered nurse on the Postpartum/Well Baby Nursery Unit at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. After relocating to the Washington DC area when she married, Stephanie started working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s National Medical Center, and later at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. She has over 10 years of experience caring for premature and sick neonates in the DC/MD/VA region.
Although Stephanie loves caring for critically ill babies, her genuine passion is providing compassionate and excellent care to the entire family. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at Georgetown University, and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She considers it a blessing and an honor to start her advanced nursing career working with children at Burke Pediatrics.
