Sarah Bennett has lived in Northern Virginia for 5 years. She was raised in a military family (Go Army!), but considers her hometown to be Tidewater, Virginia, on the James River. Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at James Madison University. She began her career as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA, and at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children in Fairfax, VA. While working as an RN, Sarah earned a Master of Science in Nursing at George Mason University. She is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Virginia and the District of Columbia, and is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, Sarah loves to travel, run, exercise at the gym and spend time with her husband and son.
Sarah likes to imagine herself as running in superspeed, so that one day she can outrun Superman!
