Michelle Waltz

Michelle was born and raised in Southwester Virginia.  She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her B.S. degree in Nursing.  After graduating from VCU, Michelle moved to Norfolk, Va and worked at The Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters as a PICU nurse.  She then went on to attend University at Buffalo, SUNY for her Master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing.  Michelle graduated from UB in 2011 and moved back to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia to work as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiac Surgery Program at CHKD for several years before moving into primary care pediatrics. 

In the summer of 2019, Michelle and her family relocated to the Northern Virginia area where she joined Burke Pediatrics.  Michelle is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.  She enjoys rowing, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family in her free time.
