Dee grew up in a military family, but spent most of her childhood in Savannah, Georgia. In 1999, she received a degree in Early Elementary Education and taught Kindergarten and Third Grade before pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
Between 1999 and 2015, Dee and her husband lived in Germany, Georgia, Missouri, Virginia, and Nebraska before relocating back to Northern Virginia in 2015.
While living in Missouri, Dee attended nursing school at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. After relocating to Northern Virginia, she worked in Labor and Delivery at Inova Fairfax for several years before returning to the Midwest. It was there she earned a Master’s Degree (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dee enjoys spending time exploring new parts of Washington D.C. with her husband and 2 children.
